Where in the world is Seymour, MO? We're 30 minutes East of Springfield, MO. on US Hwy 60. Home to the River Rats Floating Society.

Get ready for 2008 annual activities. Lots of good things coming up for the new year! Below is a note from our secretary on things coming up this year.

Secretary News - The Summer Float Campout is the weekend of June 27-29, 2008 at Dad's Farm on the big Piney river.

The Pioneer Descendants Gathering news for October 2008. See this year's poster for details. Dale and Betty Thomas hosting this event, on their farm on the Bryant river. For scenes of last year's event, go to our "Pioneer Days" page.

This years' event was held on the Big Piney River at the old York Farm near Licking MO.

Another good year, great water, and the fishing wasn't bad either. We had a group of 16 members show up for this campout. A little rain on Thursday, but; the rest of the weekend was nice. Lots of sand filled the camping area, but; that comes with the heavy rains we've had this year. All in all it was a good Spring campout.
